Ever wonder if someone else could be you or do what you do better than you?

Part of the human vulnerability is that each of us can only be ourselves. There are innumerable personal gifts, traits, and abilities that each of us posses and none of us can be all of what anyone or everyone else is. No matter how we compare ourselves to others, we can always find ways in which we fall short. Which is why it’s never wise to compare. We can’t win when we do. It takes humility to be ourselves, to show our best, and risk vulnerability. If we focus on the insecurity of our personal humanity, we will quail in the face of opportunity.

We must own exactly who we are and remember that we are unique for a reason, that the world would be missing something if we don’t show up.
